Aim and Scope of the Journal
The unprecedented technological push, the deepening inequalities, an ecological crises and ever intensifying alienation which repeatedly exposes the perilous rule of capital, emergence of authoritarianism and rapid exacerbation of all hitherto untouched spheres of life are now reshaping social relations, institutions, and everyday life. While capitalism constantly tries to survive through the crises generated by its insatiable greed plunging world in wars, hatred and creating social identities as primary markers of life, its contradictions also pave way for renewed intellectual and political engagements with alternative ways of imagining society, politics, culture and economic life. The proposed journal seeks to create a space for critical inquiry into these alternative possibilities and the diverse practices, ideas, and movements that challenge dominant paradigms.
The journal is founded on the premise that the world we inhabit is arrived at through a historico-materialist process where innumerable variables constituting economies, societies, cultures, politics and, consequently, our lives needs to understood as a process getting constituted dialectically. Our worlds are neither fixed nor inevitable; they are, rather, historically produced with constant possibilities of transformation.
The journal invites scholarship that moves beyond conventional analyses to explore alternative forms of collective life, democratic participation, economic organisation, and social relations. It seeks to examine how the present is getting constituted and what is the nature of emerging and historical experiments in way societies have been constituted and the resistances that have shaped the societies or imagine a reshaping of societies. Due to its nature of looking at societies and its processes as dialectically constituted the journal encourages breaching of narrow disciplinary boundaries while rethinking the relationship between state, society, economy, and culture. Through this approach the journal also aims to cultivate dialogue between academic scholarship and transformative social practices and intends to become a platform for imagining and building worlds beyond existing arrangements forged through a critical analysis shaped by different histories, cultures, and struggles.
Publication Frequency
Journal publishes one volume per year. Issues are published half yearly.

The journal is committed to non-commercial approach and promotes equitable access to academic work. The idea of making researches freely available to the public guides it policy of making its content open access.
Copyright, Licensing & Repository
This work is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. Authors retain copyright and full publishing rights without restriction. They should inform the journal when they are republishing the work. The journal may be included in any institutional repository after informing the editors.
Peer Review Process
All manuscripts are subject to double blind peer-review by a minimum of two external reviewers, in addition to review by the editors.
Publication Ethics and Publication Malpractice Statement
The decision to publish any article is made following the appropriate process of peer review without any financial, institutional biases. The editorial decisions are also informed by the recommendations of the peer reviewers. Therefore, everyone, from editors, reviewers to authors follow the ethical standards in performing their respective roles.
Responsibility of the Editors
Publication decisions
The Chief Editor is responsible for deciding which of the articles submitted to the journal should be published. The editor may be guided by the editorial policies of the journal and will follow the legal requirements regarding libel, copyright infringement, and plagiarism. If needed the editor may confer with the members of the Editorial Board or reviewers in making this decision.
Fair play
An editor will always have an unbiased decision regarding manuscript evaluation. It will have no space for any discrimination based on race, gender, sexual orientation, religious belief, ethnic origin, citizenship, or political philosophy of the authors.
Confidentiality
Information about a submitted manuscript will not be revealed to anyone other than the corresponding author, reviewers, potential reviewers, other editorial advisers, and the publisher, as appropriate. In case of any investigation the journal may disclose materials to third parties (e.g., an institutional investigation committee or other editors).
Disclosure and conflicts of interest
An editor must not use any unpublished submitted manuscript for own research without the written consent of the author. Information or ideas obtained through peer review must be kept confidential and not used for personal advantage. Editors should assign the task to someone else regarding the manuscript in case of any conflict of interest.
Involvement and cooperation in investigations
The journal will respond to all allegations or suspicions of research or publication misconduct raised by readers, reviewers, or other editors such as cases of possible plagiarism or duplicate/redundant publication. If need arises the journal might also ask other institutions to investigate upon assessment by the journal team.
Responsibility of Reviewers
Contribution to editorial decisions
Peer review allows editor to make an informed editorial decision and t may also enable the author to improve the paper in cases where editor deems appropriate and communicates the same to the author.
Promptness
A referee who feels unqualified to review the manuscript research or realises that it will be impossible to review the manuscript for any other reason should notify the editor and excuse herself from the review process.
Standards of objectivity
Reviews should be conducted objectively. Personal criticism of the author is inappropriate. Referees should express their views clearly with supporting arguments.
Acknowledgement of sources & Plagiarism
Reviewers should suggest authors if inclusion of relevant published work can improve the work. Reviewer must substantiate the observation, comments or suggestions through relevant citations wherever possible.
A reviewer should inform the editor of any substantial similarity or overlap between the manuscript under consideration and any other published paper of s/he is aware of.
Disclosure and conflict of interest
Reviewers should not consider manuscripts in which they have conflicts of interest on account of competitive, collaborative, or other relationships.
Reviewer misconduct
Editors will blacklist reviewers on account of misconduct and inform the institution of the reviewer about the same.
Responsibility of Authors
Originality and plagiarism
Authors must declare that their submission is original, not plagiarized, and has not been published elsewhere. Authors must also declare the nature and extent of usage of AI tools. Misrepresentation of facts will constitute unethical behavior and result in rejection of the manuscript.
Multiple, redundant or concurrent publication
The author should not submit the same manuscript to more than one journal concurrently as it constitutes unethical publishing behaviour and is unacceptable.
Acknowledgement of sources
Proper acknowledgment of any work being used directly or at level of ideas is must.
Authorship of the paper
Only those who have made substantial contribution, conceptually, in analysis and writing, to the manuscript should claim authorship. A group of authors may provide names in the order that represents contributions made by them. All authors must have seen the final version of the manuscript before submission.
Disclosures and conflicts of interest
All authors should disclose the financial support, if any, that has led to the production of the manuscript and also ensure that there is no conflict of interest financial or otherwise.
Fundamental errors in published works
The author/s must immediately inform the editor or publisher when they discover any significant error or inaccuracy in his/her own published work. It is the obligation of the author to notify and cooperate with the editor.

Neither the editors nor the Editorial Board of the journal are responsible for authors’ expressed opinions, views, and the contents of the published manuscripts in the journal. They are solely attributable to the author/s.
